David J. Smith, Esq.

David is the founder and managing partner of Smith & Coffin LLP, where he advises clients in creating their estate plans and counsels clients in negotiating commercial contracts and real estate sales and lease agreements.

David began his career at the Harvard Trust Company in the Commercial Loan Division.  After earning his Juris Doctor degree, he joined the Corporate Law Office of Honeywell Information Systems Inc. where he negotiated complex lease and sales agreements with multi-national companies.  After his career at Honeywell, he formed his private law practice advising clients on estate planning and administration, income and estate taxation, and estate administration.

David received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance at Boston College and earned his law degree at Suffolk University Law School.
